Blog | No comments

Hello, adventurers! 👋

Welcome to our latest Aconcagua Expedition update from Team Rooster. Our team, which set out on January 23, 2024, faced a snowy and challenging ascent, but our spirit and top-notch Aconcagua equipment kept us going strong!

Team Rooster Members:

  • Jorge Spur – Guide (🇦🇷)

  • Manuel Kein – Guide (🇦🇷🇩🇪)

  • Alexandre Arouca de Souza – (🇧🇷)

  • Rafael Medeiros Fernandes de Oliveira – (🇧🇷)

  • Raymond Donald Pevitt – (🇦🇺)

  • Arianna Sophia Kampton – (🇺🇸)

  • Sunith Kumar Kokku – (🇮🇳)

After a 12-day expedition, our summit push culminated with a memorable achievement:

  • Rafael, Raymond, Arianna, and Manuel successfully reached the summit, proving that with the right Guide to Climb Aconcagua and proper Aconcagua equipment, even the most challenging conditions can be overcome.

Our journey was marked by heavy snow at base camp and Camp 2, coupled with a couple of intense storms. Despite these adversities, our team persisted, showcasing the resilience required for any high altitude expedition. This adventure not only reinforced our skills and teamwork but also provides valuable insights for those preparing for the 2025 Aconcagua Expedition.

As we reflect on our achievements this season, we’re already looking ahead to Aconcagua 2026—another opportunity to refine our techniques, upgrade our Aconcagua equipment, and guide more climbers safely to the summit.

Thank you for following our journey with Andes Specialists. Stay tuned for more updates and join us as we continue to inspire and prepare for new high-altitude adventures!
