Aconcagua Expedition January 2019 – Mendoza: The Adventure Begins

We’re thrilled to announce the start of our second Aconcagua Expedition with 13 passionate climbers from Andes Specialists. On January 12th, we held a comprehensive briefing where all team members gathered to review the detailed plans and logistics for our ascent of Aconcagua.

Currently, we are stationed in Penitentes at 2,800 meters, where the weather is excellent and spirits are high. Everyone is in great shape and incredibly excited for the challenge ahead.

Tomorrow, our long approach to Aconcagua begins, marking the start of an epic journey toward one of the world’s most iconic high-altitude peaks.
