Hello from the Andes! 🏔️
We’re thrilled to report that our expedition to Cerro Plata was a success! 🎉
Five out of seven clients, plus both of our guides, reached the summit — and everyone is now safely on their way home.
But the season doesn’t stop — as soon as Plata wrapped up, we launched our December Aconcagua expedition. And what a team we have this time: a strong European crew and a climber all the way from Maceió, Brazil! 🇧🇷🌍
Our goal is to attempt the summit around December 31st, just in time to celebrate the New Year from nearly 7,000 meters. 🎆
This season, our clients are supported by a solid international guide team from Andes Specialists:
Maximo Kausch – Expedition Leader – 🇧🇷🇦🇷🇬🇧
Angel Armesto – High-Altitude Guide – 🇦🇷
Julian Beermann – IFMGA Guide – 🇨🇭
Diogo Vasconcelos – 🇧🇷
Florian Troeger – 🇩🇪
Mike Dietze – 🇩🇪
Grit Dietze – 🇩🇪
Stefan Mertens – 🇩🇪
Gunnar Mühlenstädt – 🇩🇪
Maximilian Kamml – 🇩🇪
Raymund Drömmer – 🇧🇪
With strong acclimatization plans, years of expedition expertise, and excellent weather forecasts so far, we’re optimistic about the climb ahead.
If you’re planning to climb Aconcagua in 2025, now is the time to start preparing. At Andes Specialists, we offer expert-led expeditions tailored to both beginner and experienced high-altitude climbers.
