Ojos del Salado Expedition – March 1st, 2025 Report – Summmit!
We’ve just wrapped up another unforgettable journey to the highest volcano on Earth: Ojos del Salado! Located on the Argentina-Chile border, this peak rises to an impressive 6,893 meters and offers one of the most surreal and remote high-altitude experiences in the Andes. Our February 2025 expedition, organized by Andes Specialists, brought together an international team of climbers and guides for a true adventure.

Matt Powell 🇺🇸 – This was his second year with us. His goal was to reach 20,000 feet, and he succeeded by summiting Mount El Hermitano (~6,100m), across the road from Ojos.

Bruno Jensen 🇧🇷 – Focused on Mount San Francisco and summited successfully!

Isabela Nizzola & Rafael Moreau 🇧🇷 – Also targeted San Francisco and both reached the summit before returning home.
